Terraseis’ recent rapid expansion has necessitated a need for an integrated software solution for the management of project accounting, financial reporting, asset management, procurement, human resources, client relationship management and integration with Microsoft Project and MIS reporting. Due to the diverse areas of its global operations the company required a system that would ensure effective operation across national borders, between the companies of the group and the ability to trade in multiple currencies.Our research has shown that the ideal solution for Terraseis was a combination of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009. The need for real-time data input from remote locations called for a Web Base Domain System, which allows each field location to perform real time data input to provide the management team with operational and financial data, regardless of the area of operations. The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics has been a major step forward for the company in terms of system improvement, timeliness, mobility, versatility and quality of recorded data.  This advantage combined with our ability to operate in challenging environments has made Terraseis the seismic contractor of choice for many of the world’s leading oil & gas companies and will allow us to more easily integrate our financial and reporting systems with those of our clients.
